Merry Christmas!

Hi All!
I hope to post some Christmas pictures soon. Caleb raked in all the goodies and was such a trooper! We ended up having Christmas in LeMars on Thursday night instead of Friday, since we didn't think we'd make it back to town. We did get home Thursday night though, so it was nice to be stuck at home, since we were going to get stuck somewhere. Then the 3 of us were able to wake up Christmas morning and open presents. Isaac scooped snow with our neighbor for a good couple hours and I threw in the turkey and duck. That night we decided to take all the food across the street and thank Chad & Mel for the snow scooping help :) After we got home, things started to wind down for him for the weekend. We were able to keep him pretty much on schedule and he was happy and sweet all weekend with family (it helps that all the parties were in town and we didn't have to travel!).
I can't believe it every morning when I wake him up/or he wakes me up, how much he changes overnight. Caleb is getting so strong and big, he can roll from his tummy to back, and he can actually sit up now (just have to watch him close to he doesn't tip over!). He still refuses to roll from him back to his tummy, but he is so content, that he doesn't really care to. He gets up on his side and seems just fine there. Although, it won't be long. He is starting to grab at toys/faces/dogs faces/toes/anything he can get his hands on, so I think his motivation is going to be amped up soon. He got a lot of musical toys for Chrstmas, and they can sing and count. He is so intrigued by them, and just stared at the faces as they sing or flash!
We started on cereal after Thanksgiving and we are now to about everyday/every other day. I mixed it with formula after a couple times of him not pooping for a few days. That really helped and he's staying pretty regular, and seems to be getting the hang of the spoon and swallowing differently.
Other than that, he is just keeping us on our toes and laughing everyday! He has the sweetest laugh I've ever heard (Ok, I might be a little bias)! It just makes me laugh harder with him and I love every minute of it! I just pray that 2010 brings more of the joy and love that we've been blessed with in 2009 from this little miracle.
I hope you all had a great Christmas (or will have!) and please be safe and smart for a Happy New Year!
